Football Management Is Like Making Cheese

Ancelotti: Football Management Is Like Making Cheese

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that his footballing philosophy is borne out of his experience of making cheese with his father as a child.

The Italian has enjoyed phenomenal success as a manager, guiding AC Milan to two Champions League titles, as well as Serie A glory.

The 50-year-old has now moved to Chelsea, where he will be hoping to help the Blues claim their first European title and, speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he explained the secrets of his success.

“My father was a farmer. I milked the cows and cut the trees and bushes,” he said.

“The most important produce was milk, which produced parmesan cheese. And the big lesson I learnt was to wait, to be patient.

"Because he who wants to produce parmesan today, has to wait for at least one year before everything is ready for him to make cheese.

“You plant today and harvest one year or two years later. This is my philosophy with football.”

The Chelsea boss also stated that he took this approach not just to football, but to life itself, and insisted that patience would pay off.

“It's my style, my way of life,” he added.

“You can't be anxious for the result. If you've done the proper things, it will come.”

Aku terkesan plak ngan ayat tuh. Yelah, apa yg aku faham ngan apa yg org lain faham mungkin berbeza kan? Tp nak bgtau maknanya menguruskan sst tu bkn keje 1-2 hari..contoh mcm perhubungan..ianya perlukan masa yg betul2 berkualiti utk kita tau apa rahsia dan keuntungan yg boleh dihasilkan dari sst hubungan tsbt. Mmg byk beza bila kita kenal seseorg tu 1-2 hari yg mpy masa yg sgt berkualiti bersama dgn 1-2 tahun yg rasanya jumpa pun slalu xde masa pun berbual bersama lama2..so, moralnya kat sini..give him time to manage CHELSEA Roman..and i believe CHELSEA will conquered the World for many many years! terkesan tak fan team lain? hahahahaha...

kata aku: life is just a matter of time folks
